Job summary

JT4 is seeking a Computer Scientist III to provide software and systems engineering services, primarily focused on developing and maintaining simulation systems for U.S. military testing. Responsibilities include advising project teams, developing software solutions, and maintaining customer relations. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in C++, Python, and systems engineering, along with relevant educational qualifications. Benefits include medical insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan. Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of four years of related experience.
• Experience with computer-based systems and applications.
• Programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks.

Responsibilities

• Advise team and project managers on technical problems.
• Develop design of system/software and associated design documentation.
• Participate in maintenance and sustainment activities of system/software.

Skills

Proficient in C++

Proficient in Python

Knowledge of Linux

Experience with SQL databases

Good planning/organizational skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline

Master's degree in an associated discipline
