Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Principal V&V Engineer at Edwards AFB, CA to lead verification and validation efforts for the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE). The role focuses on ensuring simulation realism from requirements to data analysis, shaping test programs and coordinating across engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in V&V, strong DoD T&E experience, and fluency with Python and MATLAB. Travel to remote sites and security clearance are possible requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of V&V experience in R&D or test environments.
• Deep knowledge of DoD Test & Evaluation processes in major acquisition programs.
• Proven experience writing, briefing, and executing test plans and test cards.
• Technical proficiency in Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Testing: Develop and execute V&V test programs, plans, and protocols for JSE platforms and systems.
• Test Design & Execution: Draft test cards and procedures, coordinate scenario development, guide live execution.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze simulation data with Python and MATLAB to troubleshoot anomalies and write final reports.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Represent V&V at reviews and stakeholder meetings; mentor engineers.
