Job summary

Qualifications

Active US Government Secret clearance or higher with clearance process completed or in process.
Experience with safety in software and systems design per MIL-STD-882 and JSSSEH.
Proficiency in C++ and Python with software safety experience.

Responsibilities

Applies safety engineering principles per MIL-STD-882 and software safety per JSSSEH.
Evaluates complex aviation systems to identify hazards and mitigate risk.
Collaborates with design teams for MIL-STD-882E hazard analyses.
Reviews plans, analyses, and documents for system safety and airworthiness.
Performs safety analyses and verifies safety requirements against tests.
