Job summary

L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems seeks a Software Quality Engineer for Fort Wayne, IN. You will design, develop, and implement standards to inspect and evaluate software and hardware products in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The role covers the full lifecycle from requirements to support, with travel up to 25% and potential DoD clearance. A strong background in RCCA, SysML/UML, Python, Agile, and DevSecOps is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years related experience.
• Graduate Degree with 4+ years related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the complete life cycle of software and hardware for aerospace applications.
• Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight.
• Make moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes.
• Contribute to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans.
• Ability to support program travel up to 25% and obtain DoD clearance.
