About The Job

AI Platform Core Components drive Red Hat’s contribution to key open source AI communities. We work on PyTorch, vLLM, Triton, and related projects. Our mission is to support these communities and productise them as part of RHEL AI and OpenShift AI.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automated test strategies and infrastructure to support team contributions to quality software
• Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot automated and manual tests
• Collaborate with other teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies
• Analyze source code and work with developers to improve testability
• Explore novel testing approaches for PyTorch focusing on usability, performance, and scalability
• Design and develop test automation frameworks and tools
• Communicate progress to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Quality Engineer, including developing test plans in open source or productization contexts
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python and Bash
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or similar
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Podman
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, Scrum, and tools like Jira

Bonus Skills

• Experience with PyTorch or related technologies
• Knowledge of AI/ML and testing implications
• Automation experience with tools like Ansible
