Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Chicago seeks an experienced Project Manager for the WPMT Program Management Office. The role coordinates software development projects, ensuring defined plans are tracked and delivered with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software PM, with experience in Agile/Scrum and Kanban, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• BS degree in technology or CS strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on software development projects.
• Experience with traditional and Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
• Excellent leadership skills to influence stakeholders and teams under pressure.
• Conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define project plans with Product Management, Design, and Engineering.
• Coordinate team members and project work to deliver plans.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple project teams and manage dependencies.
• Define, communicate, and track project schedules with teams.
• Provide progress and status reports to stakeholders using project metrics.
• Roll up progress into the larger Program view with PMO.
• Guide teams on Agile/Scrum practices, acting as Scrum Master when needed.
• Identify, track and report project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Own and manage project toolsets and communications for releases.
