Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to drive secure deployments across high‑performance environments. You will orchestrate configuration changes and updates, and lead Tier 3 escalation with Ops & Maintenance teams.

The role requires extensive Linux, IaC, Ansible, Python, and containerization expertise, plus strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
• Security clearance required: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate and manage complex configuration changes and software updates across production systems.
• Serve as the Tier 3 technical escalation lead with Operations & Maintenance teams.
• Develop automated remediation strategies to improve system stability and prevent recurrence.
