Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Integration Engineer in the Maryland area to support mission-critical government projects. The role focuses on administering a secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes-based PaaS within a Linux infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable performance for CAS Compute Environment workloads.

6+ years of related experience.
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance required.
Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
Scripting with Bash and Python.
Experience with Docker/Podman containers.
Administration of Kubernetes clusters.
Writing, deploying, and maintaining Helm Charts.
Git for source control and collaboration.
IaC concepts using Ansible automation.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and operate the PaaS component of CASA Compute Environment.
Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security compliance.
Monitor Kubernetes clusters for performance and issues.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads (ingress, networking, storage).
Develop and apply IaC practices using automation tools including Ansible.
Develop and deploy Helm charts for services and applications.
