Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead service delivery for wealth-management client-facing applications. You will partner with business leaders, technology teams, vendors, and global support to deliver stable, scalable technology solutions with secure operations.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in application development and/or support.
• Experience supporting Java-based business applications and databases.
• Experience with external tech teams, vendors, and global support.
• Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and SRE practices.
• Strong communication and leadership in a global, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver application services for wealth-management client-facing systems.
• Drive ITIL processes, Change/Incident/Problem Management, and project releases.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to partners and teams.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to support applications and drive improvements.
• Ensure production stability, on-call coverage, and risk management.
