Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our switch department, driving design, development, and testing of networking software products at our San Jose headquarters.

The role requires extensive hands-on networking software experience, strong leadership, and a track record of building high-performance teams. You will own critical components, collaborate with product managers and security teams, and guide CI/CD tooling and automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree preferred for advanced leadership and strategy responsibilities.
• Minimum 12 years of hands-on networking software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of software development management experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of key applications in the Super Fabric Manager (SFM) software.
• Mentor teammates, hire high-performance engineers, and lead cross-functional collaboration.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver innovative solutions.
• Drive process improvements and ensure robust, scalable software delivery.
