Toyota Financial Services is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to drive architecture, delivery, and technical excellence across dealer, origination, pricing, and credit domains. This role blends hands-on leadership with people management to guide major capabilities.

You will mentor engineers, shape roadmaps, establish engineering standards, and champion cloud-native, API-first, event-driven architectures while partnering with product and leadership to align with business

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering with distributed systems leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native AWS.
• Experience with API-first and event-driven integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, grow, and retain a team of full-stack and backend engineers, hiring and coaching.
• Lead system design and architecture for complex distributed platforms.
• Own end-to-end delivery of major initiatives from design to production readiness.
• Drive scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using modern cloud-native patterns.
• Align technical execution with product priorities and roadmaps.
• Establish engineering standards across APIs, observability, resiliency, and security.
• Lead API-first and event-driven integrations across dealer portals and origination systems.
• Ensure strong production readiness with monitoring, tracing, and ops discipline.
• Mentor engineers on design, code quality, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team scaling; promote AI-assisted tooling.
