Job summary

CARET is seeking an engineering leader to guide multiple technical teams delivering secure, scalable SaaS solutions. You will own hiring, performance, and cross-functional alignment with Product, Design, CX, and others while actively contributing technically.

You will drive architecture discussions, hands-on contributions, and manage document processing and AI/LLM integration efforts within a fast-paced legal tech stack, balancing leadership with individual contribution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct people management leading software engineering teams.
• 7+ years total experience delivering complex SaaS products.
• Experience with onshore and offshore engineering resources and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple technical teams of leads and ICs; own hiring and performance.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of roadmap features in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design (20–30% IC time).
• Migrate and align cloud work from AWS to Azure with security governance.
