Job summary
Buildertrend Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead teams delivering high-quality, customer-focused software for residential construction. You will embed with engineering teams, partner with Product and Design, and coach engineers to be product-minded problem solvers.
Your leadership will improve project management, reduce delays and enhance homeowner experiences. You will guide engineers, grow teams, promote Agile and implement AI-assisted tools for code review
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/CE or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong technical foundation.
- 5+ years of experience managing software engineers.
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company preferred.
- Demonstrated judgment in AI-assisted work and directing AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop software engineers with focus on growth, performance and ownership.
- Build and sustain high-performing teams that deliver impactful software.
- Champion Agile practices for flexibility, continuous delivery and value.
- Drive a culture of quality and innovation while ensuring collaboration with Product, Design, QA.
