Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to join a team improving patients' lives through a better pharmacy experience. You will own prescription processing from intake to order submission, drive automation and efficient task coordination, and enable partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.

We value a deep background in Backend/Full Stack, with Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, plus experience building resilient systems and ML integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies (Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong fundamentals and experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Note: Python experience is valued for ML initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Improve intake automation by leveraging LLMs to parse prescriptions.
• Accelerate pharmacist workflows by integrating dispensing history and risk scores into pre-dispense safety and review steps.
• Architect platforms to support an extensible inventory management system for business growth.
• Lead and mentor engineers, promoting best practices in software development and design.
