Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build software for Kodiak’s AI-enabled wearable vision platform (VETi), from prototypes to robust production systems.

You will design and optimize software for device control, imaging workflows, AR/VR interfaces, and real-time processing, while working with embedded platforms and sensors. Translate research prototypes into clinical-grade software.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related.
• 5+ years of experience with complex systems development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python.
• Experience with hardware integration, imaging, sensors, Linux/Windows.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize software for device control, imaging workflows, AR/VR interfaces, real-time signal and image processing.
• Work with embedded platforms, sensors (LiDAR, OCT), and hardware accelerators.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and scientific teams.
• Convert research prototypes into production-quality software for clinical and validation use.
