Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer in Bethesda, MD to join a DevSecOps team. The role focuses on building and maintaining biometric-related software systems with C#, API development, and secure data handling.

You will contribute to real-time analytics, ETL pipelines, and enterprise search capabilities within a collaborative, security-conscious environment. Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ with a Master’s) and must hold an active TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 6–9+ years of relevant experience in software engineering or related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.
• Proficiency in C# programming and API development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, ETL processes, and application-level security.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and logging systems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a DevSecOps environment to ensure availability of biometric systems and data for end users.
• Lead integration, maintenance, and monitoring of software systems for constant availability of technical resources.
• Design, implement, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, real-time processing, and enterprise management information systems.
• Collaborate with Systems/Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams to develop AFEM capabilities.
• Participate in test, staging, and production deployments ensuring reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain software applications using C#.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Poly
