Job summary
Mssi Inc in Maryland is seeking a Biometric Software Engineer to provide software engineering support for biometric collection and matching systems used in military and government operations. This role covers full lifecycle development, secure coding practices, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
You will participate in Agile/DevSecOps environments, develop testing procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements while adhering to AS9100/QMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- Active secret security clearance.
- Experience with biometric systems and DoD-security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance biometric software applications.
- Ensure secure software architectures complying with government cybersecurity requirements.
- Support biometric collection, matching, and enterprise identity management.
- Develop, execute, and document software testing procedures and validation plans.
- Implement and maintain secure data handling and access controls.
- Participate in Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to AS9100 and QMS policies and guidelines.
