Job summary

Ideal Innovations, Inc. seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to direct sustainment, enhancements, testing, integration, and deployment for the FABIS biometric platform.

You will work with C#/.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and DevSecOps practices to deliver mission-critical solutions. The role is primarily remote with weekly on-site support in Bethesda, MD; candidates must be a US citizen with Top Secret/SCI clearance and capable of obtaining DoD 8570 IAT II certification if not already held.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE) required or ability to obtain within 90 days of offer
• Experience with C#; strong software development background
• Technical lead experience supporting software development, system sustainment, integration, and deployment
• Experience with WPF, .NET website development and REST API
• Experience working with relational databases
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the current FABIS system and related software.
• Provide general software development support as directed by customer needs.
• Update project documentation for each release.
• Provide tasking and time estimates for each Program Increment
