Job summary

Awetomaton Beavercreek HQ seeks a software engineer with a BS in CS/Engineering and 7–12 years of software experience. TS/SCI preferred; ability to obtain with sponsorship.

Role focuses on modern web apps using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and Python RESTful APIs, with occasional travel to Wright-Patterson AFB for meetings and deliveries. Position largely based in Beavercreek, OH, with a planned Oct 2026 start.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS, SE, or engineering with 7+ years in software-focused roles.
• 7+ years developing web apps with React.
• 5+ years building Python web services and APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Git version control mastery.
• Experience with containers (Docker/Podman).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and decision makers to deliver software.
• Develop web applications using React, TypeScript, and NodeJS.
• Implement RESTful APIs and server-side logic in Python.
• Deploy applications using containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Coordinate with stakeholders at Awetomaton and partners as needed.
