Job summary

Awetomaton Ltd. seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to support customers at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. You will refine requirements with end-users and apply expertise in modern web tech to enable fast data search, visualization, and retrieval.

The ideal candidate has a BS or higher in engineering with 7–12 years of experience. TS/SCI is preferred; sponsorship available. Primarily based at our Beavercreek HQ with occasional visits to Wright-Patterson AFB.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a software-focused engineering career (Software Engineer, CS, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience developing web applications with React
• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML
• 5+ years of experience developing applications and services using Python
• Experience with relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL
• Mastery of software configuration management using Git
• Experience with Container Technology (Docker / podman / etc.)

Responsibilities

• Interface with end-users to understand and refine requirements for applications supporting mission needs
• Apply expertise in JavaScript and modern web frameworks to enable rapid search, discovery, visualization, and retrieval of data
• Develop and deploy web applications using TS, React, and NodeJS
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Python
