Job summary

Awetomaton seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to support customers at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. You will refine requirements with end-users and apply modern web tech for rapid search, discovery, and data retrieval. A BS with 7–12 years of experience is typical, with on-site work at our Beavercreek HQ and occasional travel to the base.

Active Top Secret clearance required. The role emphasizes REST APIs, containerized deployments, and strong UI/UX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in a software engineering career.
• 5+ years building web apps with React.
• 5+ years in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS.
• 5+ years backend with Node.js (Express.js or similar).
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL or MongoDB.
• Git version control mastery.
• Experience with container technology (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Interface with end-users to refine requirements for mission-critical applications.
• Develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Deploy web apps via containerization and CI/CD processes.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and server-side logic.
