Job summary

Akina Inc. seeks a Software Engineer 3 to join the forward deployed development team at Fort Meade, MD. You will design and implement web apps using TypeScript, React, and Python, collaborating with analysts and operators to solve CNE challenges and support national security missions.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of SWE experience in similar scope projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications to convey data and analytics.
• Create data transforms for diverse data types (text, JSON, databases, XML, configs).
• Gather feature requests by facilitating customer interactions and requirements.
• Understand mission objectives and data to guide the right questions.
• Maintain and architect new and existing applications and transforms for clearer analytics.
• Support mission-critical servers and contribute as a server framework developer and sysadmin when needed.
