Job summary

Awetomaton seeks a Junior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to support customers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. You will interface with end-users to refine requirements for applications supporting mission needs, applying expertise in JavaScript and modern web frameworks to enable rapid search, discovery, visualization, and retrieval of data.

An active TS/SCI is preferred; sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/SE/Engineering.
• 0–3 years in a software-focused role.
• Experience building web apps with React.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS/SASS/LESS, HTML.
• Experience with Python.
• Git for source control.

Responsibilities

• Interface with end-users to refine requirements for mission-supporting applications.
• Develop front-end and back-end features using modern web frameworks.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with Python server-side logic.
• Collaborate with team to deliver data visualization and retrieval capabilities.
