Job summary

Probity Inc. seeks an experienced software lead to design and deliver enterprise-grade applications for mission-critical systems. The role involves shaping technical approaches, building scalable backends in Python, and delivering robust RESTful APIs for distributed components.

You will work across development lifecycle, participate in design reviews, and ensure security, performance, and maintainability objectives are met within an Agile team. Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• ~10+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience with Angular or comparable front-end frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable full-stack applications from requirements through deployment and sustainment.
• Architect and implement backend services using Python and modern frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for system interoperability.
• Design and optimize relational databases focusing on performance and maintainability.
