You will work with software, data, and systems engineers to design, implement, and test features for web applications used across intelligence community initiatives. Responsibilities include coding in Python, building APIs, and integrating data sources, while mentoring junior engineers and participating in agile processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Python coding in a professional environment.
• Experience in Linux-based development environments.
• Experience designing or consuming REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and design and develop software components.
• Research software concepts, develop, and demo proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with team members to discuss status, dependencies, or blockers.
• Test code and write test steps for independent testers.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
• Develop features for web applications to enter, search, and retrieve information.
• Mentor two to three junior developers and contribute to project scope.
