Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a software engineer to design and implement scalable, mission‑critical applications. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle and work with cloud stacks to extract, transform, and visualize geospatial-temporal data.

You will lead engineering efforts, contribute to analytics products, and collaborate with clients and diverse teams to solve complex problems. Candidates need TS/SCI clearance and strong technical background.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance (with CI Poly) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related tech fields.
• 3+ years leading design/architecture of systems.
• 5+ years of programming in Python/Java/Go/Rust, etc.
• Experience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of large datasets.
• Experience with cloud architectures (AWS/C2S) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to lead small engineering teams and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, scalable software solutions for mission critical apps.
• Engage in all phases of the development lifecycle from planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Apply software standards to produce high quality, maintainable software.
• Work with cloud stacks to extract, transform, and visualize geospatial-temporal data.
• Develop analytics and derivative data products to enable knowledge extraction.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues and collaborate with engineers, clients, and users.
