Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems Division in Aurora, CO is seeking a Software Engineer to join an agile team working on advanced defense programs. The role involves developing software with modern practices, contributing to micro-service architectures, and collaborating across remote teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, a strong background in Java and Spring, and experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science with 8+ years of software development experience; 6+ years with a Master’s; or 4 additional years of relative experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application
• Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting using object-oriented programming (Java).
• Experience with Container Management (Docker and Docker-Compose) and networking with containers
• Comfortable using git, including branching, merging, and resolving merge conflicts
• Experience in Spring, Vue, GIT, Agile, Elasticsearch, and Maven are also required.
