Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience building complex distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with high-throughput or high-transaction systems.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and JVM performance.
• AWS and Kafka.
• SQL, NoSQL, and database architecture.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
• Design high-volume, distributed and event-driven systems
• Build trade order lifecycle and orchestration functionality
• Develop broker connectivity using FIX, REST APIs, and file-based integrations
• Build cloud-native solutions using AWS and Kafka
• Work extensively with concurrency, JVM performance, resiliency, and fault tolerance
• Help drive architecture and technical direction
• Mentor engineers and establish strong engineering standards
