Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a top-notch software engineer to join our team at Annapolis Junction, MD. You will work on next-generation technologies to drive decision making for national defense, covering information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale systems, security, and AI.

You should bring 14+ years of software engineering experience, a CS-related degree, and the ability to contribute across full software stack and design decisions.

Qualifications

• 14 years experience as a software engineer is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems per requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs and the use of COTS/GOTS.
