Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. We develop analytics, large-scale systems, and AI-driven solutions for national defense.

Candidates should be versatile, able to lead, and eager to tackle challenging problems across data storage, security, NLP, and UI design. The role requires a Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and 20 years of software engineering experience or 24 years with no degree.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years experience as a software engineer is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Provides input to system design with hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
