Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join our defense-focused team, developing next-generation analytics, processing-intensive algorithms, and large-scale data systems that support critical decision making.

Candidates should bring experience with Java, C++, Python, and cloud-based architectures, and embrace collaboration in a fast-paced environment while upholding security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to design requirements and tests results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Uses software development methodologies appropriate to the environment.
• Contributes to system design with input on hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
