Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a software engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will develop and maintain complex software systems, including analytics and large data processing, across diverse domains like AI/NLP, distributed computing, and UI design.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and contribute across the full stack. Qualifications include 7+ years in software engineering, a CS degree, and proficiency in Java/C#/C++/Python/Go.

Qualifications

• Requires seven years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency with Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Ruby and Go.
• Experience with IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, Visual Studio, VS Code).
• Experience with Windows, Unix, Linux, macOS.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Suite, GitHub, ServiceNow.
• Experience with Spring, Angular, Bootstrap.
• Databases including Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Build tools such as Maven, Jenkins.
• Containers and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Configuration management tools (Git, SVN, CVS).
• Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
