Job summary

PingWind, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer for multiple locations with upcoming remote work. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, with leadership responsibilities and mentorship for junior developers.

The candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, ensure secure coding practices, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions that meet federal contracting requirements.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 certifications required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of leading development on enterprise or mission-critical apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Apply secure coding standards and best practices.
• Provide guidance and code reviews to junior/mid-level developers.
• Lead complex projects and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects and PMs on technical direction.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprints.
• Partner with QA, DevOps, and systems engineering teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
• Integrate components and third-party apps into systems.
• Optimize for performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex defects and performance issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and API docs.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
