Base pay range

$175,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

A fintech startup backed by private capital veterans, is building out an AI powered market data platform. They are hiring a Technical Lead to join their New York City office as the first engineering hire!

This is a unique opportunity to build and own a core platform that is redefining a $17 trillion market — with significant equity upside.

Role:

• Lead and scale the platform architecture
• Build robust backend systems, APIs, and core infrastructure
• Implement smart features like semantic search and scoring
• Collaborate with founders and guide future engineering hires
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend focus with frontend capability
• Experience with data-driven platforms and scalable systems
• Proven ownership in fast-paced, lean teams

Beneficial Skills:

• Exposure to AI/ML, semantic search, or agent workflows
• Startup or early-stage product experience
• Understanding of private capital, fintech, or B2B SaaS

Comp:

Base salary $175k–$250k with 0.25%–1.0% equity.
