What You Will Do

• Build and optimize mission-critical systems for real-time quantitative research and trading workflows
• Write production-quality code in Python and potentially C++ (if applicable to your background)
• Work alongside researchers to develop the tooling and infrastructure needed to support experimentation, strategy modeling, and large-scale data analysis
• Tackle high-performance challenges related to latency, throughput, and system reliability
• Take ownership of technically ambiguous problems and drive them from idea to deployment
• Operate in a fast-paced, feedback-driven culture where decisions are made quickly and impact is measured in days, not quarters

Ideal Candidate Background

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering or quantitative development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a closely related technical field (Math, Physics, Statistics also relevant)
• Strong proficiency in Python; C++ experience is a major plus
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for building scalable, performant systems
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• A strong communicator who thrives in high-velocity environments
• Self-starter mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity in technical direction or business context

Preferred (Not Required)

• Internship or full-time experience at top-tier tech companies, startups, or research labs
• Coursework or TA experience in Algorithms, Systems Programming, or Distributed Systems
• Experience contributing to impactful backend projects or infrastructure at scale
• Exposure to high-performance computing, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes), or Linux internals

Compensation, Benefits, and More

• Total Compensation: $400,000–$500,000 (includes large annual cash bonus; no equity component)
• Work Authorization: Open to candidates with transferable work authorization. Visa transfers considered; new sponsorships not supported.
