Senior Software Engineer (Backend) - Series A AI HealthTech Startup - Hybrid in NYC

The role is offered onsite 4 days a week in Mid-Town NYC and will offer a competitive base salary of up to $220k (depending on experience) plus generous equity, 8 weeks PTO and other benefits.

My client is an early-stage, rapidly expanding Series A HealthTech Startup who’re hiring for a Senior Backend Engineer in NYC. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a product (that will revolutionize the Healthcare sector by lowering claim costs) from the ground up that will cut through insurance complexity to put time and money back in people's pockets.

Full job requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend and data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in a programming language such as Go, Java, C++ or Python with experience in building and maintaining production systems (client currently uses Go)
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another equivalent cloud platform & Kubernetes
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable and performant APIs.
• Knowledge of data integration, transformation, and processing techniques.
