Job summary

Northwest Bank seeks a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for enterprise applications and technology solutions. You will partner with product, security, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure software aligned with enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities include architecture decisions, mentoring teams, leading design sessions, and driving engineering standards. Strong experience in C#, Java, APIs, cloud, and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience; or a Master's with 8 years.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft tech stack and modern programming languages (C#, Java, JSON, Python).
Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering enterprise software solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for architecture, design reviews and code reviews.
Develop scalable, secure enterprise software solutions and APIs.
Mentor engineers and coordinate with product and security teams.
Drive DevSecOps practices and cloud enablement across initiatives.
Ensure adherence to engineering standards, testing strategies, and quality metrics.
