Job summary

Affirm is hiring a senior software leader to drive technical strategy by planning, prioritizing, and executing projects aligned with product and business goals. You will lead the end-to-end design and development of large‑scale, high‑availability services, building robust APIs and data models for our microservice and event‑driven architectures.

Collaborate across product, analytics, design, legal, and accounting to define requirements and execute our card loan attribution and lifecycle strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development with system design expertise.
• Proven leadership and ability to grow teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin and related languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GC) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities
