Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to support the productization and modernization of a mission-focused software suite for deployment across a broader Department of Defense customer base.

The role will help eliminate customer-specific dependencies, develop scalable authorization and key management capabilities, and guide engineering teams through design, implementation, and deployment of secure, enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience leading software engineering efforts in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of secure software solutions for enterprise authorization, encryption, and key management.
• Modernize and productize existing applications with reusable, scalable architectures.
• Develop APIs and services across distributed environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Lead encryption libraries, key management capabilities, and secure integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architectures and deliver technical objectives.
• Support Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect resolution.
• Manage project execution, identify risks, and drive timely delivery.
• Evaluate and optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop documentation and deployment procedures for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
