Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on development for enterprise apps, APIs, and cloud-native platforms. You will work with Product, Architecture, Security, and Delivery teams to drive strategic objectives and ensure successful execution.

You will guide architecture, establish engineering standards, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, secure, compliant solutions across multiple streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred) and Kubernetes (GKE preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and API management platforms like Apigee.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and support of enterprise apps, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery across multiple workstreams with focus on scalability and security.
• Define architecture, standards, and best practices across teams.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and guide implementation strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews, estimates, and risk mitigation.
