Job summary

Nationwide’s Technology team is seeking a Consultant, Software Engineer to serve as the AWD-NF technical lead for the ChorusAWDVenture line. This hands-on role places you at the heart of a cloud-hosted AWS platform, shaping architecture, delivery, and production readiness across enterprise-scale workflows.

You will mentor engineers, drive secure development practices, and collaborate with product managers, vendors, and business partners to accelerate modernization goals while delivering

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to work across a modern enterprise tech ecosystem.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, API design, and backend development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Linux, and observability tools.

Responsibilities
