Job summary

Apple is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and operate production software for the security tooling and services that support iCloud, App Store, Apple Music, and related platforms.

You will partner with infrastructure, platform, and product security teams to ship scalable security services, including scanner tooling, agentic components, backends, and APIs, while maintaining alignment with developers’ workflows and SLAs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with production ownership of non-trivial systems.
• Strong fundamentals across multiple languages (Python, Go, Java) and ability to work across others as needed.
• Solid knowledge of software supply chain security concepts including dependency risk, build and release integrity, artifact signing and verification.
• Experience designing, building, and operating agentic systems and LLM-integrated applications in production.
• Familiarity with application security assurance methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and operate security services and features, including linting, scanning, and assurance tooling.
• Collaborate in code and security reviews to uphold high quality standards.
• Research, prototype, and present ideas and results to the team and internal customers.
• Own significant components end-to-end and stay close to production code as components evolve.
