Job summary

Apple's Services Engineering Security team builds secure systems and infrastructure that power Apple’s services worldwide. You will help manage security needs across the world, designing controls and frameworks to protect user data in Apple’s infrastructure.

You’ll work with security professionals to identify and mitigate risks, surface roadmaps, and implement security controls across global services, including iCloud, iTunes, Siri, App Store and Maps.

Qualifications

• BS in CS, CE, or Info Security or 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of security architecture and secure design principles.
• Ability to design, document, and implement new security processes.
• Experience conducting security assessments of distributed systems, cloud-native apps, and large-scale infrastructure.
• Understanding of past, current, and emerging security exploit trends.
• Understanding of exploit development and conditions required to trigger different vulnerability types.

Responsibilities

• Help define a strategy and vision for uplifting security in critical services.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand architecture, current security posture, and blockers to adoption.
• Measure and communicate risks to leaders and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement AI technologies to manage risk.
• Research and identify emerging technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities to proactively define security requirements and controls before they reach production.
