Qualifications

• 7+ years of leading design or architecture of reliable, scalable systems.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with PKI, mutual TLS, and cryptographic signing
• Mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a decomposed, microservices-based platform for fleet management, rule execution, device communication, logging, security, and presentation layers.
• Design and implement secure inter-service communication (REST/mTLS) and high-throughput data plane protocols.
• Build and maintain cryptographic trust infrastructure with multiple certificate authorities.
• Implement multi-tenant data isolation using ABAC/RBAC and strict access controls.
• Develop cryptographic integrity mechanisms for configuration and audit data; implement tamper-evident logging.
• Engineer emergency access workflows with time-bounded credentials and auditable approvals.
• Ensure all cryptographic operations use FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated key management.
• Design reconciliation protocols with edge devices as trusted sources of truth.
