Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Combined experience/education may substitute the minimum.
• 5 years in information technology, software development, engineering, or relevant fields.
• Experience with ML/AI integration (LLM APIs, embeddings, vector DB).
• Proficiency in web programming with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Angular, Django).
• Foundational knowledge of security concepts, secure code development techniques, and software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with faculty, researchers, and stakeholders to translate goals into high-quality software.
• Design and develop web applications, workflows, and data pipelines in HPC and Cloud environments.
• Integrate ML/AI tools into the software development workflow to improve efficiency and performance.
• Develop and maintain scalable software applications that evolve with needs and compliance requirements.
• Translate requirements into features and services in partnership with ITS and stakeholders.
• Develop secure computing initiatives, including user portal functionality and automated workflows.
• Embed security standards and testing into development workflows and solutions.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
