Responsibilities

• Provides architectural recommendations and implements strategic IT solutions.
• Monitors new technologies and assesses applicability for future architecture.
• Leads capacity and performance analysis for batch and online environments.
• Analyzes complex service requests and system issues; guides resolutions.
• Oversees implementation of solutions, ensuring timelines and outcomes.
• Ensures security requirements are integrated into project plans and systems.
• Oversees security of desktops and servers with HIT ITS Security alignment.
• Coordinates with IT staff and partners to manage dependencies and communication.
• Maintains technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentors and develops new team members; supports tool usage.
• Coordinates system patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Oversees user accounts and access management for assigned systems.
