Job summary

USC Care Medical Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as a technical project leader across Keck Medicine of USC's multi-platform environment. You will guide design, deployment, and maintenance of secure, high-performing systems in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, a BS in Computer Science or related field, and a strong background in diagnostic tools, capacity planning, and security alignment with HIT/ ITS Security.

• Oversees implementation of solutions and ensures project deliverables.
• Ensures security requirements are integrated into project planning.
• Oversees hardware/software security and firewall configurations.
• Coordinates with IT staff and cross-functional teams on dependencies and delivery.
• Partners with clients and vendors to identify risks and provide strategic options.
• Produces and maintains comprehensive technical documentation.
• Mentors and trains team members.
• Coordinates patching and vulnerability remediation on assigned systems.
• Manages user accounts and access control on systems.
