Job summary

Raytheon Fort Wayne in Indiana is seeking software engineers to join a multi-product development team focused on Battle Management, C2, and sensor systems. You will contribute to cross-functional efforts across aerospace and defense programs, delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years of OO software experience with C++, Java or Ada, plus the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Onsite at Fort Wayne, relocation eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Minimum five+ years of professional software programming experience using C++, Java, Ada or similar OO language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-discipline product teams to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly leading a small software team.
