Senior Software Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required at the time of hire. U.S. Citizenship is also required.

LHH Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (WPF) for a permanent, fully funded role supporting a high-impact Department of Defense program onsite at Naval Base Point Mugu, near Camarillo, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced software engineering support for mission planning components that integrate with the Joint Mission Planning System-Maritime (JMPS-M), particularly the AEA UPC and EWDS used by the EA-18G "Growler".
• Lead the design, implementation, and testing of software subsystems using the WPF MVVM design pattern and .NET (Framework or Core) technologies.
• Write, optimize, and maintain XAML-based UIs and system logic in complex, multi-platform environments.
• Work in an Agile environment alongside leads and project owners to deliver new features and maintain existing systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines using modern tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, and Autofac.
• Maintain software configuration management and ensure compliance with DoD standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on front-end applications.
• Expertise in WPF, XAML, and the MVVM architecture pattern.
• Solid experience with the .NET Framework or .NET Core.
• Proficiency in scripting (VB, Shell, MSBuild), SQL, and Agile development practices.
• Experience with tools like Git, TFS, or ClearCase.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead or work independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; a Master’s is preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Autofac, Telerik, RabbitMQ, Azure DevOps, or Sonarqube.
• Knowledge of VMware environments and CMMI practices.

Salary & Work Modality

• Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 per year (flexible up to $160K for exceptional candidates)
• Work Modality: Fully onsite, Monday through Friday at Naval Base Point Mugu, CA
