Labviva is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Boston for our core purchasing platform. You will enable a modern e-commerce experience for scientists ordering equipment, chemicals, and lab consumables, while providing suppliers with analytics on marketplace behavior.

The role blends frontend, backend, and data pipeline work in a hybrid onsite setup three days per week in Boston. The team values scalable, secure, and maintainable systems and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience.
• Ownership/SME of technical & functional areas with key stakeholders.
• Experience with modern enterprise tech stacks and ship-ready software.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead for initiatives, designing and implementing new features and advancing platform technologies.
• Mentor, support, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the company.
• Contribute to an engineering culture focused on shipping high-quality products.
• Ship code daily across frontend, backend, integrations, and search infrastructure.
